The Development Laboratory for a leading pharmaceutical company was in the process of deploying an Investigational Laboratory Information Management System (ILIMS) based on the Thermo Scientific Nautilus 7 software package. The lab’s ILIMS project management team had determined that an evaluation of the ILIMS was necessary to determine ways to improve development and deployment methodologies, configure the Nautilus system and increase ROI. The lab leveraged LabCentrix’s Nautilus experience to provide an objective, third party perspective and to assess user acceptance and where the lab should spend its resources/budget to deliver the best long-term support and maintenance of the ILIMS.
The LabCentrix assessment team developed 36 recommendations to advance the ILIMS project team’s efforts. These initiatives would help the team more effectively achieve its goals and milestones, improve the success of its releases and raise the user satisfaction and perceived value of the ILIMS solutions. The findings were documented in a detailed assessment report, and the 36 recommendations were ranked in priority from 1 to 4 for the ILIMS project team.
